Today the UL Museum of History serves the purposes of education and science, as well as popularizes the values of cultural history of the University of Latvia. Everybody is welcome to participate in excursions or consultations and look at various materials, such as, photographs, documents, articles and books, about the events before the formation of the university, about the university’s formation and about its development until the present day. The material tells also about the people who have studied or worked at the University of Latvia, and have made significant contributions in the fields of academia, science, economics, and culture.
